"Vastly Improve Your Sales in 6 Easy Steps!"

     The marketing gurus are always telling us to test everything. How often have you read about how you should tweak your headline - and other aspects of your sales pages - to see if it gets a better response?

     If you've been running your online business for a while, you've doubtless heard this plenty of times.

     And it's sound advice.

     But, like a lot of other guru advice, they never actually explain HOW to do it!

     I mean, you tweak your headline, right? Then you wait and see if your sales to visitor ratio improves, right? Then you tweak it again. And wait again. You could spend your whole life just tweaking the headline and still learn very little.

     This kind of procedure could take ages - especially if you're not getting that much traffic. And, when you've finished tweaking the headline, you start tweaking the next thing!

     In short, you could spend years just tweaking your sales pages - wasting valuable marketing time. And you're not even sure that you'll learn very much in the process.

     Well, now I'm going to show you how to put all this tweaking on auto-pilot thus maximizing the potential selling power of your sales pages - without wasting a lot of your time. It's quick, easy, free and, above all, accurate. It's called 'Split Testing'.

     Here goes...

STEP 1:

     Download a copy of Scientific Internet Marketing Assistant (SIMA) which I've made available for you for free. To download it now, just click here. (Note that this is a web-based application and your web host must have PHP 4.1.0+ for you to use it. The vast majority of web hosts have this. If in doubt, check your host's FAQ or contact them).

STEP 2:

     Follow the simple instructions in the user manual to set up SIMA on your website. It takes just a few minutes.

STEP 3:

     Okay, from now on we'll work with an example to keep things clear. Let's say the page you're trying to improve is currently at this URL: http://www.YOUR-SITE.com/ebook.htm. So, the page we're working on is called ebook.htm.

     Okay, create an exact copy of  ebook.htm and call it, for example, ebook1.htm. (To do this, just open it in your web editing software and 'save as' ebook1.htm). This is the page that has your current headline (or whatever else you're testing).

     Now, change the headline on this page to the new one you want to test and 'save as' ebook2.htm. (If you have several headlines you want to compare, you can repeat the process for ebook3.htm and so on).

     Send these new pages up to your server.

STEP 4:

     Log into your SIMA control panel. Click 'Campaign Management' and then 'Create a new campaign'. Enter a title and description for your campaign (this is for your own reference only).

     Now, enter the URLs of the different versions of the page that you want to test (e.g. http://www.YOUR-SITE.com/ebook1.htm, http://www.YOUR-SITE.com/ebook2.htm, and so on).

     Select the additional options available according to your preferences and then click 'Create Campaign'. On the next page you'll get two pieces of code.

STEP 5:

     Put the Result Tracking Code on the page your visitors will go to if they do what you want them to do.

     For example, if you want them to subscribe to your newsletter, put the code on your 'Thanks for subscribing' page. If you want them to buy your ebook, put it on your 'Thanks for your order' page.

STEP 6:

     Open your web editing software or Notepad (or any text editor) on your PC. Create a page called ebook.htm (or whatever the name is of the original page you're tweaking).

     Now put this code into this page (and nothing else):

     Now, upload this page to your server. It will replace the original page you're testing and will launch your test campaign.

     Now, just sit back and let SIMA tell you exactly which tweaks are producing the right results on your site.

     One final point, never make more than one tweak at a time. Don't for example, change your headline AND your guarantee. If you do, you won't know which one has helped/worsened response rates and your test simply won't work.

     Okay, now you know HOW to do it, just DO IT! Because, yes, you may be selling to one in every 100 visitors right now but, with a little tweaking, you may be selling to one in every 50, or one in every 40 or one in every...

     And that's a LOT of extra profit!
